CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Only the finest natural fibres are selected for these designs, because lasting quality is a priority. It is important to take special care of your purchase in order to keep it looking as good as new for as long as possible.

Wool has amazing breathable and odour resistant qualities and your woollen items do not need to be washed too often. The less they are washed, the more they will retain their unique character.

Most items can be very gently washed by hand in lukewarm water using a natural detergent for delicates or other mild specialist wool detergent. Take care not to rub or twist your item. Never wash in the machine as this may lead to the item felting and shrinking. Please note some of the larger blankets and throws are not suitable for hand washing and should be dry cleaned only.

After washing by hand, gently rinse in clean lukewarm water and then very gently press out any excess water and ease the item into shape. Dry flat on a towel on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Once your item is dry, you can use the steam setting on your iron to gently smooth out any creases, taking great care to avoid placing the iron directly on the knitted fabric.

In between wears, you can simply hang your item to air and at the end of the season, store away with a natural moth repeller such as cedar or lavender.
