Donegal Wool Triangular Scarf - Stone + Charcoal

Donegal Wool Triangular Scarf - Stone + Charcoal
This luxuriously tactile triangular scarf designed in a textured stripe stitch is intended to showcase the beautiful character of the wool and is inspired by the raw beauty of weathered coastal surfaces worn over time by shifting tides and shoreline winds.
The scarf is knitted combining Donegal Wool and finest lambswool in a fine two-tone stripe in shades of stone and charcoal.
Materials - 50% non-mulesed Irish Donegal wool and 50% lambswool, spun and dyed in Scotland.
Size - Approximately 142cm ( 56 inches) along the longest edge and 51cm ( 20 inches) deep at the point of the triangle.
Cool gentle hand wash or dry clean only.
This scarf was knitted in my studio on a vintage domestic knitting machine using a beautiful merino-quality wool sourced from a mill in southwest Donegal, an area which can trace its heritage to the early tradition of hand spinning, dating back centuries.
